Human Rights

These are images from a collaborative project with me and some good friends of mine, lead my Tara Mohtadi for her upcoming show in September called, Interrupted Lives.  They are images that are to bring awareness towards human rights violations happening in Iran to students. An issue not really known to most of us here in the states but just as impactful to many who reside here. All of the people in these photographs come from different ethnic backgrounds and cultures.  Even more so a reason to at least engage in reading and finding out more.  This isn't just about it being in Iran, its also about being able to have freedoms to educate and learn as we all so rightfully should.

To find out more go to these sites:

There is a film on the site as well, its worth viewing for sure.
